What a better way to spend your day in Jamaica than to experience the invigorating overland tour and Black River Safari experience. Your excursions begins westward through the hills passing various small farming villages and rural villages while viewing some of the most breathtaking countryside scenery in the area. Arriving at Black River experience your boat ride on Jamaica’s largest wetland area Black River Morass. Your boat ride begins at the mouth of the Black River and last approximately one hour. Over 100 species of birds have been sighted in the Black River area and it is also one of the last habitats of endangered crocodile. Crocodile sightseeing is frequent and flora and fauna of this area are spectacular. On feeding days, you see Charles Swaby the resident crocodile expert, hand feed the crocodiles there are also different species of mangrove in this area.

What to expect

The tour guide will meet guests at their hotel  at the time scheduled - staff will greet the guests, introduce the company and confirm correct destinations. After making sure the guests are safely in the vehicle, we begin the transport by educating the guest on the surroundings along the journey to the destination. We'll give the guests a description of the site, ensuring they have every thing they need, such as water shoes and towels. The tour is fully customized so we can stop on the way for breaks, to purchase food or take pictures - whatever the guests need to make them comfortable and enhance the trip
